Interesting times. Never has the word unprecedented been so perfectly accurate. And though the entire world has (literally) shut down, real estate in Richmond has not. It has certainly slowed, as some have lost jobs and others are employing a wait-and-see approach, but our daily MLS numbers show homes listing, pending and closing every day! I don’t have a crystal ball (anyone know where I can get one?), but my feeling is that there’s not the same sense of panic that there was in 2008 or in some other downturns that impacted real estate. We’ll see where this takes us, but I’m working on keeping a positive attitude. I hope you are all well.
