Our numbers have remained very stable, despite the beginning of interest rate increases that occurred in October. People tend to become concerned when interest rates rise but, as most of us who have been around a while know, rates in the 5% arena are very reasonable – who remembers double-digits? This month’s stats actually show that both the number of houses sold and the average sales price increased over just last month of this year. We’re fortunate to live in Richmond where the real estate market tends to see less volatility than some of the larger markets.
