Our March stats provide a virtual mirror image of March 2018 with the exception of the increased median sales price. Richmond’s biggest challenge, real estate-wise, is still a shortage of inventory. We get excited when we hear about anyone building anything, anywhere! We are definitely benefiting from an influx of folks from other parts of the country to the entire Richmond region, in large part because word of our insane coolness is now out there, but we need more houses! It is still a great time to buy or sell, especially since the renovation movement is making many parts of town great places to live. Check out neighborhoods all over Richmond and even into some older sections of Chesterfield and Henrico if you haven’t lately. It’s a new world out there!
