As we near the end of August, the market seems to be slowing down ever so slightly. The spring bottle neck has started to loosen up and we’re now seeing houses stay on the market for a week or two, whereas in April, May and June, homes were pending within two days! Additionally, we are seeing a drop in the fervor of bidding wars. This is likely due to the several thousand buyers in the region who found their home this spring or summer and are no longer looking. This is still a very strong time to buy or sell if you’re looking to make a move as many new listings continue to enter the market each week and buyers are still very active.
