We hear a lot about the shortage of inventory this year, but that’s actually not the case. Compare the number of homes sold in July this year with July of last year. It’s how fast they’re selling that makes it seem as though there aren’t many available. No sooner do they list than they’re pending, so it’s like they were never there at all! But as they say, the only constant is change. One day, as hard as it is to fathom, it will be a buyer’s market again. For now, we all keep plugging away and most buyers do eventually find the house for them – and win the bidding war! Crazy times, friends, crazy times.
