Back in March and April, when the then-new pandemic slowed the market momentarily, we predicted we’d see the spring market in the fall this year. Here we see the numbers bearing that out. From about July through October, the Richmond market has been operating at a frantic pace. It continues to be a tricky market for buyers, with lots of competition. The winter months may help if you fall in that category as many buyers hold off until the spring market. Sellers are listing no matter the time of year because there’s such a shortage of inventory. A winter search may just be the answer to finding your new home with less stress!
