For the first time in a long while, the number of homes sold in a month was less this year than last year. Not to worry though, they still spent fewer days on the market and sold for a significantly higher price. We’re really not seeing it slow down in the RVA market right now, but we are seeing a few more price drops than have been typical over the last few years. With the news mentioning the R-word recently, people tend to become a little nervous. But it helps to remember (or hear for the first time, depending on your age) that very few of our last seven or eight recessions had an impact on the real estate market.
